As coaches and helping professionals become more experienced, the challenges they face often become more complex.
The question is no longer simply:
"How do I become a better coach?"
It becomes:
- How do I continue growing?
- How do I navigate increasing complexity and uncertainty?
- How do I support others without carrying everything alone?
- How do I continue evolving while helping others evolve?
Solution-Focused Supervision is a structured reflective practice that helps experienced practitioners step back from their work, gain broader perspective, and continue learning from experience.
Unlike coaching, which focuses on the client's development, supervision focuses on the practitioner as the learner. Through this process, participants develop greater awareness, resilience, maturity, and perspective while learning how to support reflective growth in others.
What makes Erickson's approach unique is that participants both experience supervision themselves and learn a Solution-Focused approach to facilitating supervision. This means you receive support for your own development while building a reflective practice that can support your ongoing growth and the growth of others.
Whether you are seeking deeper professional mastery, greater confidence in navigating complexity, or the foundations of future supervision practice, this program offers a transformational next step in your development.

You've learnt how to coach, BUT WHO SUPPORTS YOUR GROWTH?
As coaches become more experienced, the questions often change.
Not: "How do I become a better coach?"
But:
Am I still growing?
How do I navigate increasing complexity?
How do I avoid becoming isolated in my work?
How do I continue evolving while supporting others?
Who supports the supporter?
Many experienced practitioners discover that more techniques aren't the answer.
What they need is a reflective practice that helps them learn from their own experience.
What Is Solution-Focused Supervision?
Supervision is a structured reflective process that helps practitioners step back from their work, gain new perspectives, and continue their professional and personal development.
Unlike coaching, supervision focuses on the practitioner as the learner.
Through Solution-Focused Supervision, you learn how to:
-
Reflect on complex situations
-
Expand your awareness and perspective
-
Strengthen resilience and well-being
-
Continue developing your professional maturity
-
Support the growth of others more effectively
More Than Supervision. MORE THAN TRAINING.
Most professional development focuses on acquiring new skills. Most supervision provides support for current challenges. This program combines both.
You will:
✔ Experience supervision yourself
✔ Receive support and perspective on your own practice
✔ Learn a Solution-Focused supervision approach
✔ Develop reflective skills you can use throughout your career
✔ Learn how to facilitate reflective development in others
This means that in addition to receiving supervision, you're developing a sustainable approach to growth that can support both yourself and others.

Solution-Focused Supervision in action
In June 2026, senior solution-focused coaches, mentors and facilitators came together to experience Solution-Focused Supervision with Marilyn Atkinson. Here's a sneak peek into the magic...
Hear from the Erickson community
“After 15 years of coaching, mentoring, and training coaches, I knew something was missing to fully serve coaches - the reflective practice of Supervision was it. The Erickson Solution-Focused approach to Supervision goes far beyond skill-building: it rebuilds identity, restores energy, and holds space for coaches to grow as human beings while dedicating themselves to the growth of others. For anyone serious about this work - and honest about its weight - this is not a luxury - it is what makes it sustainable. And for me personally, Supervision is not an add-on to my practice. It is what makes it whole.”
Nadezhda Mihaylova, PCC“I believe this course would benefit anyone committed to continuous learning and professional growth. While it is particularly valuable for coaches, mentor coaches, and team coaches, it can also benefit leaders, managers, agile coaches, facilitators, consultants, and other professionals who support the development of individuals and teams.”
Maria Margeta, PCC Past ICF Chapter President for Greece“This supervision program leverages Erikckson's time-tested solution-focused methods and principles. This program is empowered by a profound understanding of how people develop both on the skill level and as persons.”

Coaching supervision is a reflective conversation about coaching practice. It gives coaches a structured space to step back from client work, explore complex situations, and gain deeper awareness of their role, impact, and professional development. Unlike coaching, supervision focuses on the coach as the learner.
This program is designed for experienced coaches, mentor coaches, team coaches, facilitators, leaders, consultants, and helping professionals who support the growth and development of others.
It is particularly valuable for practitioners who are navigating increasing complexity, responsibility, and professional demands.
Coaching usually focuses on the client’s goals and development. Mentoring often involves sharing experience, guidance, or expertise. Supervision focuses on the coach’s own professional practice, helping them reflect on client interactions, ethical considerations, relational dynamics, and their own presence in the coaching conversation.
Participants commonly report:
- Greater self-awareness and perspective
- Increased resilience and confidence
- Deeper reflective practice
- Enhanced professional judgement
- New approaches for supporting the growth of others
- A sustainable framework for ongoing development
