Surrounded by stunning nature, ocean, mountains and diverse multi-culturalism, Vancouver breathes into you a fresh sense of vitality and well-being. So does coaching! Vancouver is a place to leverage your aliveness, and coaching skills, with onsite training of The Art & Science of Coaching, including the annual Summer Intensive.

Here are some gems to explore while visiting Vancouver, British Columbia.

Top 3 Activities to do in Vancouver

1. Granville Island

Conveniently situated in the heart of Vancouver, Granville Island is a magical, must-see destination (and the location of our onsite training). Take in the local art shops and theatres, indulge in the market-fresh cuisine, breathe in the salty air on the many restaurant patios, or rent a kayak for a False Creek excursion. Hard to go wrong when their vision statement is, “The most inspiring public place in the world.”

2. Stanley Park

For all nature enthusiasts, Stanley Park is a lush and expansive 400-hectare natural west coast rainforest, located directly between Vancouver’s downtown district and the Pacific Ocean. The abundance of trails will guide you to sandy beaches, majestic trees, mountain views, local wildlife, and Canada’s largest aquarium. The 10-km seaside trail that surrounds Stanley Park is perfect for renting a bike and taking in the ocean breeze, and sunsets.

3. Grouse Mountain

Standing tall and proud on the Northern Shores, Grouse Mountain is a present staple of Vancouver’s skyline, and can host you no matter the season; skiing and snowshoeing in the winter; hiking and ziplining in the summer. Once the Skyride drops you off, you will find restaurants, shops, and nature tours at the top. For those who like a challenge, the Grouse Grind is a steep 2.5 km hike from the base to the peak. Fun fact: the record to the top is 23:48!

There are many other things to do when working towards your Coaching Credentials in Vancouver! Here are some of our other top picks:
