Things to do in Paris

Fall in love with Coaching in the city of Love

AUTHOR: Erickson Coaching International

Tick two bucket list items off with one trip- become a coach and visit the iconic City of Love. With regular onsite The Art & Science of Coaching taking place in Paris, there's no reason to pass up on a romantic trip of self development.

To help you visualize the scene, we have put together some must-do activities when visiting Paris, France.

Top 3 Activities to do in Paris

1. Visit the Louvre

The World's largest and most visited museum is situated in the heart of Paris, in the 1st arrondissement and is a must see for travelers. The Louvre was originally a palace for two centuries. Its exhibitions represent 11,000 years of culture and human civilization and the most famous piece housed at the Louvre is the Mona Lisa. Stroll through unguided, book an official tour or follow one of the Louvre's theme - based tours. When exploring, don't forgot to save time for the picturesque Louvre Gardens!

The museum requires all visitors to book a time slot online before visiting.

2. Climb the Eiffel Tower

There are really only two options when you visit Paris...the lift or the stairs? A symbol of the avant-garde and modernity of Paris, the Eiffel Tower has been an international landmark since 1889. If you are planning to catch a ride to the top, remember to book your tickets well in advance through the online platform. Come hungry and enjoy a crêpe from the vendors on the seine on your way down!

You can visit anytime during the day but we recommend visiting early to see the sunrise before you join up with the Coaching session.

3. Stroll through the Palace and Gardens of Versailles

Soak in the manicured views created for royalty that date back before the reign of Louis XIV. The Palace of Versailles is an attraction itself but, for nature lovers, the Gardens are not to be missed. In creating the Gardens, trees had to be brought in from different regions in France and maintenance requires replanting every 100 years.

The Palace of Versailles is a 60-90 minute train trip from Paris so we recommend making a day out of the visit.

There are many other things to do when working towards your Coaching Credentials in Paris! Here are some of our other top picks:

  • A Boat trip on the Seine
  • Visit Notre Dam Cathedral
  • Experience a proper Parisian breakfast
  • Go to the top of the Arc de Triomphe
