Cheryl Chapman is delighted to instruct The Art and Science of Coaching for Erickson College. Since discovering, “The best coaching instruction in the world” through an Australian Grid Partner in 2006, Cheryl has formalized her role as a business coach and expanded her understanding of the power of coaching in releasing potential in the workplace. Cheryl is a member of the International Coach Federation. In 2009 she joined the Quarter Century Club of the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada.

Cheryl Chapman CGA was the senior female executive, and spokesperson, of a multi-billion dollar, 10,000 employee, Canadian retail food chain: The Overwaitea Food Group (including Save-On-Foods) by the age of 31. This accomplishment was the result of a series of successful projects such as the first retail bank in a food store in Canada, in-store ATMs, the development of the chain’s first electronic check cashing card system, and the first chain-wide true costing program for the food group.

During the next five years Cheryl was responsible for all media relations, customer relations, and community relations as the chain grew in British Columbia and expanded into Alberta. During this time Cheryl Chapman served as British Columbia’s chain store representative on the Provincial Government Advisory Board for the Buy BC Program. She also served as the Community Partnership Program Chairperson for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Having been part of a successful culture change initiative at the food group, Cheryl Chapman took a wealth of financial, business, and leadership experience into her consulting practice when she began working with the leadership, teambuilding, and conflict resolution tools of Scientific Methods Inc. (now known as Grid International Inc.) Cheryl is the content editor for three of the organizations major texts: The Power to Change, The Power to Change HealthCare, and Team Dynamics.

Cheryl is a Canadian Partner of the global Grid organization through Grid Communications Inc. and has a strategic alliance with the most successful North American partner, Tory Herring Leadership Partners Inc. in the USA. This gives her access to some of the best tools and most skillful practitioners in the world. Their focus is on profiling and releasing the potential of individuals, teams, and organizations throughout North America.

Cheryl has lived in Canada and the USA, and now resides on the island of Gabriola in British Columbia, Canada.
